Axis Bank Revises Interest Rates On Domestic & NRE Deposits

The leading private sector lender of India Axis Bank has revised its interest rates on domestic, and NRE deposits of Rs 5 Cr and above. The new rates are effective as of December 27, 2021, according to the bank's official website. On the other hand, the bank has maintained its interest rates unchanged on domestic term deposits of less than Rs 2 crore. Axis Bank Fixed Deposit Interest Rates For Non-Senior Citizens

The bank is currently providing an interest rate of 2.50 percent to 3.00 percent on domestic term deposits of less than Rs 2 crore maturing in 7 days to 29 days and 30 days to 3 months. Axis Bank is currently paying a 3.50 percent to 4.40 percent interest rate on deposits maturing in 3 months to 6 months and 6 months to less than a year to the general public. Deposits maturing in one year 1 year 5 days will now attract an interest rate of 5.10 percent, while deposits maturing in one year 5 days will pay an interest rate of 5.15 percent.

On deposits maturing in 1 year 11 days to less than 13 months and 13 months to less than 18 months, the general public will now receive interest rates of 5.20 percent and 5.10 percent, respectively. Axis Bank is currently giving the general public an interest rate of 5.25 percent, 5.40 percent, and 5.75 percent on term deposits maturing in 18 months or less than 5 years, and 5 years to 10 years. Senior citizens will get an additional rate of 0.50% on their term deposits maturing in 6 months to 10 years.
