One of the schemes that is a favourite of many analysts and individuals is the Quant Small Cap Fund. The returns from this fund have been fantastic over the 3-years, which has prompted many to rate this as 5-star.

Quant Small Cap Fund: Rated No 1 By Crisil
Rating agency Crisil has rated the fund as No 1. Value Research has accorded a 5-star ratings to the fund and Groww too has accorded it a 5-star ratings.
The fund has given a 286% absolute returns in the last 3-years marking a fantastic returns, which is why it is now a popular scheme. The fund has investments in ITC, Jindal Stainless, IRB Infra, RBL Bank etc. The fund has invested almost 95% in equity and the remaining in debt and cash and cash equivalents. The net asset value of Quant Small Cap Fund is Rs 151.92 under the growth, direct plan.
Inflows into mutual funds continue
Meanwhile, inflows into mutual funds continued unabated. "Despite market volatility, equity funds continue to garner strong inflows, while hybrid funds saw subdued net inflows in February. Net inflows in equity funds increased month on month by 25% from 12,546 crores to 15,685 Crores. Within equity funds, the Sectoral and thematic segments garnered maximum flows. Small-cap funds continue to garner flows, followed by Multicap, Midcap and Large and Mid-caps. Within the hybrid space, Multi-Asset Funds continue to build on momentum of the last two months as debt yield provided attractive investment opportunity along with long term appeal of equity and gold. Overall, investors continue to maintain faith in India's growth potential and tap the current opportunity in markets to add to positions. On the debt side, medium-term funds, long-duration funds and gilt funds saw inflows, a welcome break from consistent outflows," says Akhil Chaturvedi, Chief Business Officer, Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company.
