Leading lenders across the country that may include small finance banks, non-banking financial companies, private, and public sector banks have been hiking fixed deposit interest rates to make them attractive for investors. Meanwhile, the Reserve Bank of India decided to keep the repo rates on hold on April 6, 2023 with a readiness to act which was largely against the expectations of a 25 basis points hike by economists. Check some of the banks offering highest FD interest rates below:

Unity Small Finance Bank: The bank offers 9.00% FD interest rate to regular citizens and 9.50% interest rates to senior citizens for the tenure of 1001 days FD. Regular citizens can also opt for 181-201 days FDs wherein they can get an interest rate of 8.75% and senior citizens can fetch 9.25% interest rate under this tenor.
Fincare Small Finance Bank: It offers the highest interest rate of 8.41% to regular citizens and 9.01% to senior citizens for FDs with the tenure of 1000 days. These rates are applicable for FDs below Rs 2 crore.
Other banks offering FD interest rates in the range of 8% to 9%
Utkarsh Small Finance Bank: The bank provides the highest FD interest rate of 8.25% to regular citizens and 9.00% to senior citizens for the tenor of 700 days. The interest rates is offered for deposits less than Rs 2 crore. The rate of interest was last revised on February 27, 2023.
Suryoday Small Finance Bank: The bank last modified its FD interest rates on March 01, 2023. It offers highest FD interest rate of 8.51% to regular citizens and 8.76% to senior citizens for 999 days FD below the amount of Rs 2 crore.
SBI: The bank last revised its interest rate on retail domestic term deposits (below Rs 2 crore) on February 15, 2023. After the revision, regular citizens can fetch the highest 7.00% interest rate and senior citizens can get 7.50% interest rate for the tenor of 2 years to less than 3 years.
Meanwhile, interest rates on 'Sarvottam (Non-Callable) Domestic Retail Term Deposits (above ₹15 lakhs to less than ₹2 crores), will be 7.40% for general public and 7.90% for senior citizens for the tenor of 2 years.
PNB: The bank offers highest FD interest rate of 8.05% to super senior citizens for the tenor of 666 days. Senior citizens can fetch 7.75% interest rate and regular citizens can get maximum 7.25% for FDs for the tenure of 666 days. The bank last revised its interest rates February 20, 2023.
Regular citizens can opt for FDs for the tenure of above 2 years and up to 3 years to get 7.00% interest rates, senior citizens will get 7.50% and super senior citizens will get 7.80% in this tenure.
