ICICI Bank Revises Interest Rates On These Deposits For Regular & Senior Citizens

The private sector lender ICICI Bank has revised its interest rates on fixed deposits of Rs 2 Cr to Rs 5 Cr. The new interest rates are effective as of 30th December 2021 and are applicable to both regular and senior citizens. Interest rates on domestic, NRO, and NRE deposits of Rs 5 crore and above have also been changed by the bank.

ICICI Bank Interest Rates On Domestic, NRO & NRE Deposits of Rs 2 Cr to Rs 5 Cr

The bank is currently giving an interest rate of 2.50 percent on deposits maturing in 7 days to 45 days and 2.75 percent on deposits maturing in 30 days to 60 days, after a recent modification made on December 30, 2021. Deposits maturing in 61 to 90 days and 91 to 184 days will now return 3.00 percent and 3.25 percent interest respectively. On deposits maturing in 185 days to 270 days and 271 days to less than one year, the general public and senior citizens will now receive interest rates of 3.50 percent and 3.65 percent, respectively. On deposits maturing in 1 year to less than 15 months, 15 months to 18 months, and 18 months to 2 years, ICICI Bank is now providing interest rates of 4.05 percent, 4.10 percent, and 4.25 percent. Deposits of Rs 2 crore to Rs 5 crore maturing in two years, one day to three years, and three years, one day to ten years would now pay an interest rate of 4.50 percent and 4.60 percent to the general public and senior citizens, respectively.

Effective as of 4th December 2021, the bank is now offering an interest rate of 2.50% to 5.60% to the general public and 3.00% to 6.30% to senior citizens on their deposits maturing in 7 days to 10 years.
