Midcap FMCG Stock Declares 600% Dividend, Fixed Record Date, Shares Jumps 7.17%

Shares of Hatsun Agro Product Ltd. rallied over 12% to Rs 1,094.90 intraday high in early trade on Thursday, currently trading at Rs 1045.80 on BSE. The company reported an increase in net consolidated profit of 54.2% in Q1FY24 to Rs 80.2 crore from Rs 52 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

On July 19, 2023, the company declared an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share (600%) of the face value of Re. 1 per share for the Financial Year 2023-24. The interim dividend, which will be paid on or before August 18, 2023, has a record date of July 27 set by the company.

"Declared an interim dividend of Rs. 6 per equity share (600%) on the fully paid up equity shares of the face value of Re. 1 per snare. This is the first interim dividend declared by the Board for the financial year 2023-24. 3. Fixed July 27, 2023 as the Record Date towards payment of Interim Dividend. The Interim Dividend will be paid on or before August 18, 2023," the company said in a regulatory filing.
