Aptech is a small-cap company that deals in the consumer discretionary sector. A prominent educational institution in India with its headquarters in Mumbai is Aptech Ltd. For the purpose of 2:5 bonus shares the company had earlier fixed 6th July as the record date but on Tuesday, the company informed stock exchanges that its Board of Directors has revised the record date to Friday, July 14, 2023.
"This is in furtherance to our earlier letter dated June 05, 2023 and the communications received from BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited, this is to inform you that the Company has revised the record date and is being fixed on Friday, July 14, 2023 for the purpose of determining the list of equity shareholders of the Company whose names appear in the Register of Members, maintained by the Company's Registrar and Transfer Agents, who will be entitled for allotment of bonus equity shares in ratio already approved by the Board however subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company. Further the record date as stated under the Notice of Postal Ballot shall stand revised and be read as 14th July 2023," said Aptech in a stock exchange filing on Tuesday.

The company recorded a consolidated net income of Rs 181.47 Cr during March 2023 quarter compared to Rs 66.99 Cr in March 2022 quarter. The company's net expenses stood at Rs 145.22 Cr during Q4FY23 compared to Rs 56.87 Cr in Q4FY22. The company said its EBIT reached Rs 36.26 Cr compared Rs 10.12 Cr in the same quarter of FY22. Aptech said its net profit was Rs 33.35 Cr in Q4FY23 as against Rs 25.55 Cr in Q4FY22 whereas its EPS climbed to Rs 8.06 from Rs 6.24 in the corresponding period of FY22.
The shares of Aptech Ltd opened today on the BSE at Rs 487.95 apiece and clocked an intraday high of Rs 493.45 during the afternoon deals. The stock made a 52-week-high of Rs 591.85 on (30/05/2023) and a 52-week-low of Rs 201.00 on (21/06/2022). Indicating that at the current market price of Rs 490.25, the stock is trading 17.16% below the 1-year high and 143.90% above the 1 year low. In the last 1 year the stock has given a multibagger return of 132.94% and on a YTD basis, it has rallied 42.42% so far in 2023. During Q4FY23, Aptech reported promoters shareholding of 47.37% and a public stake of 52.63%.
