RBL Bank Revises Interest Rates On FDs; Senior Citizens Gets Maximum Benefits

As Reserve Bank Of India's Monetary Policy Committee opted to raise Policy Repo Rate today by 50bps to 4.9%, RBL Bank has announced revision in its Fixed Deposit rates. New FD rates have become effective June 8, 2022.

As the Reserve Bank Of India's Monetary Policy Committee opted to raise Policy Repo Rate today by 50bps to 4.9%, RBL Bank has announced revision in its Fixed Deposit rates. The new FD rates have become effective starting June 8, 2022. As per the official website of RBL Bank, senior citizens gets highest interest rates as per the latest revision.

According to RBL, "An interesting offering is that for a 15months tenure for deposits below Rs. 2 crores- depositors can enjoy 6.65% and 7.15% for senior citizens."Check the latest rates below as on 8th June, 2022:

7 days to 14 days: General citizen gets 3.25% p.a. while senior citizens gets 3.75%

15 days to 45 days: General citizen gets 3.75% p.a. while senior citizens gets 4.25%

46 days to 90 days: General citizen gets 4.00% p.a. while senior citizens gets 4.50%

91 days to 180 days: General citizen gets 4.50% p.a. while senior citizens gets 5.00%

181 days to 240 days: General citizen gets 5.00% p.a. while senior citizens gets 5.50%

241 days to 364 days: General citizen gets 5.25% p.a. while senior citizens gets 5.75%

12 months to less than 15 months: General citizen gets 6.25% p.a. while senior citizens gets 6.75%

15 months: General citizen gets 6.65% p.a. while senior citizens gets 7.15%

15 months 1 day to less than 24 months: General citizen gets 6.25% p.a. while senior citizens gets 6.75%

24 months to less than 36 months: General citizen gets 6.50% p.a. while senior citizens gets 7.00%

36 months to less than 60 months: General citizen gets 6.30% p.a. while senior citizens gets 6.80%

60 months to 60 months 1 day: General citizen gets 6.30% p.a. while senior citizens gets 6.80%

60 months 2 days to less than 120 months: General citizen gets 5.75 % p.a. while senior citizens gets 6.25%

120 months to 240 months: General citizen gets 5.75 % p.a. while senior citizens gets 6.25%

Tax Savings Fixed Deposit (60 months): General citizen gets 6.30% p.a. while senior citizens gets 6.80%
