Even as the Sensex has comfortably scaled past the 61,000 points mark all over again, there are some stocks that have under performed in the last 1-month. Here are 5 such stocks that are down upto 40% in the last 1-month.

Should you buy the stocks of these beaten down companies?

To begin with Raghuvir Synthetics had already sharply rallied and has become a multi-bagger stock. The reasons for the plunge of 40% in the stock could be attributed to profit booking.

As far as Dilip Buildcon is concerned one of the reasons for the fall in the share price could be that the construction and infrastructure development saw its Executive Director, in the custody of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

To be honest the company's quarterly numbers too have not been too could and over the last few months, this had had an impact on the share price.

The story with GNA Axles also is the same. The numbers for the quarter ending Dec 31, 2021 were not too good. The company reported a drop in net profits to Rs 16.67 crores from Rs 26.64 crores in the corresponding period of the previous year. The drop in net profits was also one of the reasons for the fall in the price.

We are not sure on the reasons for the fall in the share price of SVP Global and Paisalo Digital. However, unless you study the reasons for the fall in the share price, it's no point in buying the shares. In any case, the fall in the share price of these two stocks is not sharp.
