Top Bank Offering 8.75% Interest Rate On FDs For Senior Citizens, Check Details

Are you looking for attractive interest rates on your fixed deposits? Ujjivan Small Finance Bank is offering interest rates as high as 8.75% to senior citizens and 8% to regular citizens. The latest rates have already become effective beginning from November 5, 2022.

According to the bank's website, "book Fixed deposit for 80 weeks (560 days) and earn attractive Interest rate of 8% p.a., additional 0.75% applicable to Senior citizens, premature closure and partial withdrawal facility is allowed."

As per the bank's website, you need to keep your Aadhaar card and PAN card handy for instant account opening.

The minimum interest rate begins from 3.75% for tenors 7 days to 29 days for general citizens. The bank is offering the maximum interest rate to general citizens at 8% for deposits for tenure of 560 days. Senior citizens will get 8.75% interest rate for the tenure of 560 days.

According to Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, "Customers can invest a minimum of above Rs. 15 lakhs to below Rs. 2 Crores under the plan. The Platina FD is non-callable, i.e. partial and premature withdrawal facility is not available in this scheme."
