This Mid Cap equity Mutual fund from the house of Quant Mutual Fund is a 23-year-old fund, launched in March 1998. It is rated 5-star by Value Research as well by the CRISIL. It is an open-ended highly risky fund. 

Fund's Objective

For capital appreciation or return, this fund invests in equity-related mid-cap companies defined by SEBI. 
According to the Quant Mutual Fund, "The primary investment objective of the scheme is to seek to generate capital appreciation & provide long-term growth opportunities by investing in a portfolio of Mid Cap companies. There is no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be realized."

Fund Details

The fund has Asset Under management (AUM) worth Rs 511 crore as on May 31, 2022. As on June 22, 2022, the Net Asset Value (NAV) of the fund is Rs 108.79, according to the Quant Mutual Fund. The expense ratio of the fund is 0.63% as on 31st May 2022. The exit laod of the funds is 0.5% if redeemed on or before completion of 3 months or 90 days from the date of allotments of units. 

Investment in the fund starts with the minimum required amount of Rs 5000 for a lump-sum payment and Rs 1000 for SIP. There is no lock-in period in this fund. The benchmark of this fund is the Nifty Mid Cap 150 Index.

PGIM India Midcap Opportunities Fund Equity Mutual Fund is an 8-year-old fund, launched by the PGIM India Mutual Fund in December 2013. It is an open-ended fund. Both Value Research and CRISIL have given it a five-star rating. However, the fun is also rated highly risky for the investment. 

Fund Objective

To achieve long-term capital appreciation, the fund invests predominantly in equity & equity-related instruments of mid-cap companies defined by SEBI.

According to the PGIM India Mutual Fund, "The primary objective of the Scheme is to achieve long-term capital appreciation by predominantly investing in equity & equity related instruments of mid-cap companies." 

Fund Details

As on 31st May 2022, the fund has an asset under management (AUM) worth Rs 5,119 crore and an expense ratio of 0.45%, respectively. It has Net Asset value (NAV) declared on 22 June 2022 is Rs 41.37. The fund charges 0.50% if redeemed within 90 days from the date of allotment of units.

To start investment in this fund the minimum investment amount required is Rs 5000 for a lump-sum payment and Rs 1000 to start investment via SIP. The fund has no lock-in period. Its benchmark is Nifty midcap 150.
