One can start investment in this view with a minimum required amount of Rs 5,000 for lump-sum payments and Rs 500 for SIP. A minimum of Rs 1000 is needed to make additional investments in this fund. There is no applicable lock-in period here. Within 365 days of the investment, the fund charges 1 per cent on redemption for units in excess of 10% of the investment. NIFTY Large Midcap 250 is the fund's benchmark.

Investment Strategy
The fund aims to generate long-term capital growth from a diversified portfolio of predominantly equity and equity-related securities with a minimum allocation of at least 35% each in large-cap and mid-cap companies.
Portfolio
As this is an equity fund 90,02% of the investments are in equities (Domestic). Approximately 39.34% of the L&T Large & Midcap Fund's holdings were large-cap stocks, 22.84% were mid-caps, 17.01% were small-caps, and the remaining percentage was made up of cash and other investments.
The fund has a majority of investments in financial, technology, automobile, energy, services, and capital goods sectors. The fund has taken less exposure to financial, healthcare, Construction, Material, and Consumer Staples sectors compared to other funds in the category. Major holdings of the fund are in ICICI Bank, Reliance Energy, Infosys, SBI, The Indian Hotels Company, Persistent Systems, and SRF.
EV Sector Investments
Automobile OEM and support companies like Tata Motors, Sona BLW Precision Forgings, and Minda Industries are included in the fund's EV portfolio. It has exposure to the charging infrastructure market via its investments in Tata Power and Reliance Industries.
It has invested in businesses that create software and other comparable solutions for EVs, like Tata Elxsi. Additionally, it holds Tata Chemicals suppliers of chemicals for lithium-ion cell manufacturing, recycling, and manufacture.
