Yes Bank Offers Senior Citizens Up To 7% Returns On FD: Check Latest Rates Here
With effect from November 3, 2021, Yes Bank, one of India's largest private sector banks, has changed its fixed deposit interest rates. Non-senior citizens can now get up to 6.25 percent on their deposits, whereas senior citizens can now get up to 7% on their deposits of less than Rs 2 crore maturing in less than 10 years, thanks to the most recent amendment.
Yes Bank FD Rates For Senior Citizens
Yes Bank now offers the highest interest rate of 7% to senior citizens on their deposits maturing in 3 years to less than 10 years. This interest rate is much higher than that of special fixed deposit schemes for senior citizens offered by some of the leading banks of India. For instance, SBI special FD scheme for senior citizens (WeCare) offers an interest rate of 6.20%, ICICI Bank Golden Year FD scheme offers an interest rate of 6.30%, whereas HDFC Bank and Bank of Baroda are offering an interest rate of 6.25% on their special fixed deposit schemes.
These interest rates are only applicable for a tenure of 5 years or more, and on the other hand, Yes Bank is now the top player for offering an interest rate of 7% with a promise of deposit insurance cover of up to Rs 5 lakhs provided by DICGC. With effect from 3rd November 2021, Yes Bank is now offering the following rates to senior citizens on their deposits of less than Rs 2 Cr.

Yes Bank FD Rates For Non-Senior Citizens
For non-senior citizens, Yes Bank now offers the highest interest rate of 6.25% on deposits of less than Rs 2 Cr maturing in 3 years to less than 10 years. On a single deposit amount of less than Rs 2 Cr, Yes Bank is offering the following interest rates as of now on deposits made by non-senior citizens.

Following the most revision made on interest rates of domestic deposits, Yes Bank is now promising the following interest rates on recurring deposits with effect from 3rd November 2021.
