IRFC Dividend 2026: Railway PSU Announces Second Interim Dividend; Check Record Date

IRFC dividend 2026: Shares of Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) will be in focus today after the company's board approved a second interim dividend for FY26 during its meeting held on March 9th.

According to an exchange filing, the IRFC board of directors declared a second interim dividend per equity share of face value Rs. 10 for the financial year 2025-26. The company has fixed Friday, March 13th as the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for receiving the dividend.
The IRFC dividend payment will be credited within 30 days from the date of declaration to shareholders whose names appear in the company's records on the record date.

As per the filing, shareholders who hold IRFC shares in demat accounts or physical form as of March 13, will be eligible to receive the second interim dividend for FY26.

Typically, the IRFC dividend ex-date is expected to fall on the same day as the record date, meaning investors need to buy the stock before the ex-date to qualify for the payout.

It is expect the IRFC interim dividend for FY26 to be in the range of Rs. 1 to Rs. 1.5 per share, based on the company's historical dividend pattern.

Last year in 2025 IRFC gave out two dividends for its share holders one in march of Rs. 0.80 per share and other divided of Rs. 1.05 per share in october

Despite its steady dividend payouts, IRFC shares have been under pressure in recent months.
On March 9th, IRFC share price closed at Rs. 97.75, declining Rs. 1.72 or 1.73% during the trading session.

Over the past six months, the IRFC stock has fallen around 22.53%.Being one of the largest railway sector public sector undertakings (PSUs) in India, The company currently has a market capitalisation of around Rs. 1.28 lakh crore.
