Kerala Lottery Biggest-Ever Jackpot: Thiruvonam Bumper 2026 1st Prize Raised To Rs. 30Cr Check Full Prize List

This Onam season in Kerala is bringing a big reason to cheer for the lottery enthusiasts. The Kerala State Lotteries Department today announced that it has increased the first prize of the Thiruvonam Bumper lottery 2026, also known as the Onam Bumper, from Rs. 25 crore to Rs. 30 crore.

After this hike Kerala lottery for Thiruvonam bumper becomes the highest lottery prize on offer anywhere in the country.
The Kerala government has issued a formal order approving the revised Thiruvonam Bumper prize structure, and the Thiruvonam Bumper ticket price stays similar at Rs. 500.

Kerala Onam Bumper Third Prize Also Revised

Along with the jackpot hike, the Kerala Lottery Department has also made some changes in the prize structure. The Thiruvonam Bumper third prize has been reduced from Rs. 50 lakh to Rs. 25 lakh.

As per a report by The Hindu, Lottery Director Anju K.S. confirmed the changes, stating that this is the first time the Onam Bumper's top prize has crossed the Rs. 25 crore since it was last raised in July 2022, when the first prize jumped from Rs. 12 crore to Rs. 25 crore.

Thiruvonam Bumper 2026 Launch Date And Ticket Price

As per the latest update, Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan will formally release this year's Thiruvonam Bumper tickets on July 17.

The Kerala Lottery Department has planned 90 lakh tickets for distribution through authorised agents, though the final print run will be adjusted based on demand. Each Onam Bumper ticket costs Rs. 500, made up of a base price of Rs. 357.14 plus 40% GST. Tickets will be sold across ten series TA, TB, TC, TD, TE, TG, TH, TJ, TK and TL.

Kerala Onam Bumper 2026 Full Prize Structure

The total prize payout for the Thiruvonam Bumper 2026 is around at Rs. 125.54 crore. Here is the full precise structure:
The first prize winner takes home Rs. 30 crore. The second prize offers Rs. 1 crore each to 20 winners, with two winners drawn from each of the ten series. The third prize, now revised to Rs. 25 lakh, will also go to 20 winners across the series.

The fourth prize is Rs. 5 lakh for 10 winners, one per series, while the fifth prize offers Rs. 2 lakh each to another 10 winners, again one per series.

Lower-tier prizes in the Kerala Onam Bumper cover a much larger number of ticket holders. The sixth prize of Rs. 5,000 goes to 54,000 winners, the seventh prize of Rs. 2,000 goes to 81,000 winners, the eighth prize of Rs. 1,000 goes to 1,24,000 winners, and the ninth prize of Rs. 500 goes to 2,75,400 winners. Nine additional winners will receive a consolation prize of Rs. 5 lakh each.

Kerala Lottery Thiruvonam Bumper Draw Date 2026

The Kerala Onam Bumper draw will be held on September 26 at Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram, the venue where all major Kerala lottery draws are conducted.
