Kerala Dhanalekshmi DL-53 Lottery Terms & Conditions To Claim Prizes:
1. If your winning amount is below Rs 5,000, you can claim the prizes at any designated lottery shop.
2. If your winning amount is above Rs 5,000, then you will have to take your winning lottery ticket at Kerala lottery department or designated banks. You will be required to submit the lottery along with a series of documents for KYC.
3. The prize winners are advised to verify the winning numbers with the results published in the Kerala Government Gazette and surrender the winning tickets within 90 days.
4. For Dhanalekshmi DL 53 lottery, a total of 3,95,294 prizes are given.
5. However, the first prize of Rs 1 crore, second prize of Rs 30 lakh and third prize of Rs 5 lakh are taxable. There is 30% tax rate and 4% cess imposed on any lottery winning amount irrespective of state, as per Income Tax Department rule.
6. Further, 10-12% agents commission will be removed the top 3 winning amounts. These commissions will be given to agents who sold the first, second and third prize lottery tickets.
7. Not just that agents will get 12% commissions even on 4th to 9th and consolation prizes. But this 12% will not be deducted from the lucky winners amount but instead from the funds allotted by the government. For example, 12% commission to agents on fourth prize of Rs 5,000 will be given from the funds allotted and the winner will get full amount of Rs 5,000.
