Kerala Onam Thiruvonam Bumper 2026 Lottery Prize Structures

In total, there are up to 5,34,670 prizes offered under Kerala Onam bumper with total winning amount at Rs 125.54 crore.

1st Prize: The first prize is increased by Rs 5 crore to Rs 30 crore for 2026 season, compared to Rs 25 crore bumper prize last year. Only 1 winner will get Rs 30 crore, along with the seller of this lottery who will get 10-12% commission from the winning amount.

2nd Prize: At least 20 winners will be selected for second prize and they will receive Rs 1 crore each. This makes the second prize total amount up to Rs 20 crore.

3rd Prize: For the third prize as well, 20 winners will be selected and each will get Rs 25 lakh, totaling the winning amount to Rs 5 crore.

4th Prize: Here, 10 winners will be selected to receive Rs 5 lakh each, totaling up to Rs 50 lakh payout.

5th Prize: For the fifth prize, 10 winners will be selected to receive Rs 2 lakh each. This totals the winning amount to Rs 20 lakh.

6th Prize: Up to 54,000 winners will be selected to receive Rs 5,000 each as sixth prize.

7th Prize: Here, up to 81,000 winners will be selected to receive Rs 2,000 each under the 7th prize category.

8th Prize: A whopping 1,24,200 winners will get Rs 1,000 each as eighth prize.

9th Prize: For the ninth prize, a total of 2,75,400 winners will win to receive Rs 500 each.

Consolation Prize: The consolation prize is of Rs 5 lakh and will be given to 9 nine winners. That means each of them will receive Rs 5 lakh as consolation. The consolation prize winners will be identified based on the tickets which match the first prize winning numbers but miss the series.

Per Onam bumper lottery tickets cost Rs 500. The tickets are in the series of TA, TB, TC, TD, TE, TG, TH, TJ, TK, TL. Up to 90 lakh tickets of these series have been printed for Kerala Onam lottery.

The result will be announced on September 26, 2026. The lucky draw will begin at 2:00 pm IST from Gorky Bhavan, near Bakery Junction, Thiruvananthapuram.

Kerala Onam Thiruvonam Bumper 2026 Lottery Tax Rules

Currently, there are fixed tax rates on any lottery offered by states like iKerala, Sikkim, Punjab, Assam, and Nagaland. Here's a breakdown:

- A 30% tax rate is mandatory to be levied on the winning amount above Rs 10,000.

- Then add 4% health and education cess, which will push the total tax rate to 31.2%.
