Ladli Behna Yojana: Good News Before Raksha Bandhan! Rs 1,500 For Women; How To Check Status - Direct Link

To uplift the joy on Raksha Bandhan, the government of Madhya Pradesh delivered early gifts to the women under Ladli Behna Yojana. Women can earn up to Rs 1,500 in their account. The state government transferred as much as Rs 1,859 crore to at least 1.26 crore women beneficiaries' accounts.

Ladli Behna Yojana Instalment:

As part of the scheme, for the month of August, the women will get Rs 1,250 in their account as regular installment. However, the government has also released an additional benefit of Rs 250 as part of Raksha Bandhan Shagun to these women's accounts.

In total, the women will receive an Rs 1,500 installment ahead of the festival.

The government described this development as a small token of love from a brother to their sister.

Through his X handler, the Chief Minister, MP account said, "Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transfers the "Raksha Bandhan Shagun" amount of Rs 250 in addition to the monthly installment to the beloved sisters through a single click at an event organized in Narsinghgarh, District Rajgarh."

Ladli Behna Yojana Benefits:

Every eligible woman will be paid an amount of Rs. 1250/- per month during her eligibility period in the applicant's own Aadhar linked DBT enabled bank account.

2. If a woman below 60 years of age from any family is receiving an amount less than Rs. 1250/- per month under the Social Security Pension Scheme, then an amount of up to Rs. 1250/- will be provided to that woman.

Ladli Behna Yojana Eligibility:

• Be a local resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• Be married, which will also include widows, divorced and abandoned women.
• Must have completed 21 years of age as on 01 January of the calendar year of application and must be below 60 years of age.

Who Is Not Eligible?

1. Whose self-declared annual income of self/family together is more than 2.5 lakhs.

2. Whose self / any member of the family is an income tax payee.

3. Whose own/any member of the family is employed as regular/permanent employee/contractual employee in the Government Department/Undertaking/Board/Local Body of Government of India or State Government or is receiving pension after retirement.

How To Apply For Ladli Behna Yojana Scheme?

As per the state government website, applications for the scheme can be filled online through the portal/mobile app. The procedure for this is prescribed as follows:

- To apply online, applicants will have the facility to fill the "Form of information required for application" in advance. The said form will be available in the camp/Gram Panchayat/Ward Office/Anganwadi Centre.

- Also, the application form will be entered in the Ladli Behna Portal/App at the campsite/Gram Panchayat/Ward Office.

- Photograph of the woman will be taken during submission of the application form.

- The entry of the filled form will be done online by the camp in-charge appointed in the camp/ward/gram panchayat/ward office and a printed receipt will be given for each successfully filed application. This receipt will also be received by the beneficiary through SMS/Whatsapp. Anganwadi workers will assist in the above process.

- After submission of the application form, the online application number received will be recorded in the acknowledgement and given to the applicant.

Step 2: Once the website opens, click on the option titled ""Application and Payment Status" which will be available on the top section of the homepage.

Step 3: To take the process ahead, enter your application number or Samagra ID.

Step 4: After that, enter the captcha code and click for 'SEND OTP'.

Step 5: You will receive a one-time password on your registered mobile number. Enter it in the required box.

Step 6: Then click on Search.

The payment status will be displayed on your screen accordingly.
