LPG, ATF Prices From March 1: 19kg Cooking Gas Prices Hiked By Rs 23-26 Per Cylinder; Check City-Wise

LPG prices in 19kg cylinders have been hiked in the range of Rs 23 to Rs 26 per cylinder with effect from March 1, 2024. Among the top four metro cities at Indian Oil, 19kg per cylinder price is up by Rs 25.5 each in the national capital and Mumbai, while prices have been increased by Rs 24 and Rs 23.5 per cylinder in Kolkata and Chennai. Also, the company has revised jet fuel prices for domestic airlines.

Latest LPG Prices:

At Indian Oil, in the national capital, the 19 Kg IndaneGas is now available at Rs 1,795 per cylinder, costlier by Rs 25.5 compared to the price of Rs 1,769.5 per cylinder in the previous month.

A similar hike of Rs 25.5 has been imposed in the country's financial hub, Mumbai. Now, 19kg indanegas is available at Rs 1,749 per cylinder compared to the previous month's Rs 1,723.5 per cylinder.

Meanwhile, in metro hubs like Kolkata and Chennai, the price hike was lower compared to Delhi and Mumbai.

In Kolkata, from March 1, 19kg of indane gas is available at Rs 1,911 per cylinder, higher by Rs 24 compared to Rs 1,887 per cylinder in the previous month. While in Chennai, the same indane gas is available at Rs 1,960.5, up by Rs 23.5 from the previous month's Rs 1,937 per cylinder.

LPG Prices In 14.2kg cylinder:

Indian Oil has not hiked the prices of this kg cylinder since August 30, 2023.

In Delhi, the 14.2kg cylinder continues to be at Rs 903 per cylinder, while the price is at Rs 929 in Kolkata, Rs 902 in Mumbai, and Rs 918.50 in Chennai.

ATF Prices Revised:

Apart from the hike in higher cooking gas aka 19kg cylinders, the largest OMC has also revised its jet fuel prices.

In the Indian rupee, the aviation turbine fuel (ATF) price is at Rs 1,01,396.54 per kl for domestic airlines with effect from March 1, 2024. While ATF is now at Rs 1,10,296.83 in Kolkata, Rs 94,809.22 in Mumbai, and Rs 1,05,398.63 in Chennai.

In dollar terms, ATF prices are at $921.39 per kl in Delhi, $959.49 in Kolkata, $919.49 in Mumbai, and $916.49 in Chennai.
