Similarly, 10 grams were priced at Rs 1,530, up by Rs 20 compared to Wednesday's Rs 1,510.

Bulk buyers and investors also saw a steep jump in prices. A 100-gram quantity of silver was priced at Rs 15,300, marking a Rs 200 rise from the previous day's Rs 15,100. The most significant increase was observed in the 1 kilogram category, where prices surged by Rs 2,000 from Rs 1,51,000 to Rs 1,53,000 on October 2, 2025.

The upward trend reflects the traditional buying sentiment during the festive season, with many considering Dussehra an auspicious day for investing in gold and silver. Traders anticipate that prices may remain firm in the coming days as the festive season continues, leading up to Diwali.
