Nestle India Dividend Bonanza! Rs. 2/sh Special Dividend Announced Alongside Final Dividend; Check Record Date

Nestle India has declared a Special Dividend 2026 of Rs.2 per equity share of face value Re 1 each, to be paid out of the company's retained earnings. The announcement was made by the Board of Directors on July 3rd at the same meeting where the final dividend for FY2025-26 was recommended.

Nestle India Dividend Record Date And Payment Schedule

The FMCG major has fixed July 10th, as the record date to determine shareholders eligible to receive both the final dividend for FY26 and the special dividend. Shareholders whose names appear in the company's Register of Members, or in the Register of Beneficial Owners maintained by the depositories as of the record date, will be eligible for the payout.

The Nestle special dividend, along with the final dividend for FY2025-26, will be paid from July 30, 2026.

According to the Exchange filing, the final dividend has been recommended by the Board and is subject to shareholders' approval at Nestle India's 67th Annual General Meeting, which was held on July 3, 2026. The special dividend adds to the final dividend of Rs. 5 per share that the board had already approved back in April this year, taking the total shareholder payout for the year higher.

Nestle India Dividend History

Earlier this year, the company declared an interim dividend of Rs. 7 per equity share, with February 6 as both the record and ex-dividend date. In the previous year, Nestle India paid a final dividend of Rs. 10 per equity share, with the record and ex-dividend date falling on July 4, 2025

Nestle India shares today were trading at Rs. 1,453.40 apiece on the NSE at around 1:54PM after jumping by 0.50%. Nestle India shares have been on a strong run over the past few months up by 22% over the past three months and 364% over the last ten years. The company's market capitalisation as of today stands at Rs. 2.80 lakh crore, with around 0.12 lakh shares changing hands for a turnover of Rs. 1.74 crore.
