After the launch of ICICI Bank's Instant Credit card offer, Kumbakonam-headquartered bank, City Union Bank has rolled out the offer. To provide much needed financial aid and assistance to their account holders who also maintain a net banking account with it, the bank has come up with the offer.

Who and How to avail the offer?

The credit card can be generated at the click of a mouse online by seeking for a credit card through the net banking facility with no fees and charges. The bank that introduced the credit card online offer on Saturday has already gained the much expected traction and as many as 80 customers of the bank have been reported to generate the credit card online.

Conditions necessary to avail the online credit card facility

Only two prime conditions are called for to avail the offer.

1. First you need to be a City Union bank account holder who maintains a net banking account with the bank

2. Also, you need to have a FD account in place with the bank.

Full use of the card for instant transactions shall start only from today by capturing the PDF image of the credit card. The image shall bear in the complete details as that in the physical card such as the cardholder name, card number and expiry date. The bank has tied up with MasterCard for its online credit card facility. Also, a lien with the FD shall be marked and a maximum credit limit of RS. 3 lakh or 80% of the FD proceeds shall be available as credit to the customers.
