Dividends are generally a portion of a company's earnings that is paid to the shareholders, either as an interim or final dividend and in order to get the dividend value, you must purchase the stock on or before the record date. Dividend stocks are less volatile in downturn markets, and investors trying to build wealth continue to benefit from investing in dividend stocks with a stellar record of high dividend yield. In the financial sector, the ex-dividend date is one business day before the record date on which the stock trades without the value of the upcoming dividend declared by a particular company. So to present a clear perspective of the dividend stocks set to trade next week, below we have picked up 10 stocks that are scheduled to trade ex-dividend next week and investors should keep in mind that they will not get the dividend value if they purchase any stock on or after the ex-dividend date.

 
Market Radar To Watch: 10 Stocks To Trade Ex-Dividend Next Week

1. Laurus Labs Limited

In an exchange filing, the company said that "The Board of Directors of the Company in their meeting held on April 28, 2022 have approved for the payment of 02nd interim dividend of Rs. 1.20/- (60%) per equity share of Rs.2/- each, for the Financial Year 2021-22. Further, pursuant to Regulation 42 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements), 2015, the Company has fixed "May 11, 2022" as "Record Date" for determining the eligibility of the Shareholders. The Dividend amount will be paid on or after May 18, 2022."

The stock will trade ex-dividend on May 10, 2022, since the record date has been set for May 11, 2022. The stock closed Friday's trading session at a market price of Rs 567.45, down -8.70 (-1.51 per cent) from its previous close of Rs 576.15.

2. Thyrocare Technologies Ltd

The company has informed BSE by saying that "The Board has declared an interim dividend of Rs. 15/- per equity share of face value of Rs. 10 each for the year ended 31 March 2022 at its meeting held on 29 April 2022. The record date for the purpose of determining the entitlement for payment of interim dividend is fixed as 12 May 2022."

The stock shall trade ex-dividend on May 11, 2022, and it closed at a market price of Rs 765.05 on Friday, down -10.95 (-1.41 per cent) from its previous close of Rs 776.

3. Aptech Ltd

In an exchange filing, the company has said that "Pursuant to Regulations 30 and 33 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, this is to inform you that the Company's Board of Directors have, at its Meeting held on today i.e. May 04, 2022, has inter alia considered and approved declaration of Interim Dividend @ 50% i.e., Rs. 5 per Equity Share of face value of Rs. 10 each for the Financial Year 2021-22. The Record date fixed for the interim dividend is May 12, 2022. All ECS/NECS accounts of the Shareholders who have provided their Bank account details will be credited electronically and Dividend Warrants to the Shareholders who have not provided/updated their Bank account details will be dispatched via suitable mode."

 

Because the record date is May 12, 2022, the stock will trade ex-dividend on May 11, 2022. On Friday, the stock closed at a market price of Rs 321.20, down -7.85 (-2.39%) from its previous closing of Rs 329.05.

4. HDFC Bank

On 23rd April 2022, HDFC Bank said in an exchange filing that "Pursuant to Regulations 30, 42 and other applicable provisions of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 as amended from time to time ("the Regulations"), we are pleased to inform that the Board of Directors, at its meeting held today, has recommended a dividend of Rs. 15.50 per equity share of Re. 1/- each fully paid up (i.e.1550 %) out of the net profits for the year ended March 31, 2022, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Bank."

"The record date for determining the eligibility of members entitled to receive dividend on equity shares is Friday, May 13, 2022. Dividend, if approved by the shareholders of the Bank, shall be paid after the AGM to those shareholders, whose names appear in the Bank's Register of Members/ Register of Beneficial Owners maintained by the Depositories viz., National Securities Depository Limited and Central Depository Services (India) Limited as at the close of business hours on Friday, May 13, 2022," the bank has said in BSE exchange filing.

The stock will trade ex-dividend on May 12th, 2022, because the record date is May 13th. The stock has fallen -31.90 (-2.36 per cent) from its previous close of Rs 1352.95 to settle at Rs 1,321.05 on Friday.

5. Indian Card Clothing Ltd

The Company's Board of Directors announced a special interim dividend of Rs. 25 per equity share of Rs. 10 for the fiscal year 2021-22 on May 3, 2022. The record date for payment of the Interim dividend for the fiscal year 2021-22 has been set at May 13, 2022, and the stock will trade ex-dividend on May 12, 2022.

The stock closed at Rs 304 on Friday, down -8.55 (-2.74 per cent) from its previous close of Rs 312.55.

6. Procter & Gamble Health Ltd

The company told BSE on the 5th of May 2022 that "We are pleased to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today, inter alia, have recommended an Interim Dividend for the Financial Year 2021-22 of Rs. 41 per Equity Share (Face Value of Rs. 10/- each). The dividend shall be paid on or before May 31, 2022. As informed earlier in our letter dated April 28, 2022, record date for the purpose of eligibility for payment of said Interim Dividend shall be May 13,2022."

The stock will become ex-dividend on May 12, 2022, since the record date has been set for May 13, 2022. On Friday, the stock closed at Rs 4,364.45 in the market, down -92.90 (-2.08 per cent) from its previous closing of Rs 4457.35.

7. Coastal Trawlers Ltd

The company informed BSE on the 2nd of May 2022 that "In accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we submit that the Board of Directors in its meeting held on May 02, 2022, has declared interim dividend of Rs. 2/- per equity share of Rs. 10/- each. In compliance with Regulation 42 SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the record date fixed is May 13, 2022 for the purpose of payment of Interim Dividend."

The stock finished the day at a market price of Rs 360 on Friday, down -16.25 (-4.32%) from its previous closing of Rs 376.25. Investors should be informed that the stock will trade ex-dividend on May 12, 2022.

8. INDUS TOWERS Ltd

Indus Towers Ltd's Board of Directors announced an interim dividend of Rs. 11/- per equity share of Rs. 10/- each for the financial year 2021-2022 at their meeting on May 5, 2022. The record date has been set for Tuesday, May 17, 2022, and the stock will trade ex-dividend on May 13, 2022.

On Friday, the stock closed at Rs 198.90, down -3.20 (-1.58 per cent) from its previous closing of Rs 202.10.

9. Aarnav Fashions Ltd

The Board of Directors, in its meeting held on May 5, 2022, authorised the payment of an interim dividend @ 5%, Rs. 0.50 per equity share of Rs. 10/- each for the financial year 2021-2022, with May 17, 2022 as the record date. The stock will go ex-dividend on May 13th, 2022, and it closed at Rs 52.65 on Friday, down -2.10 (-3.84 per cent) from its previous level of Rs 54.75.

10. Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd

The company has said in an exchange filing that "We are pleased to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at its Meeting held on May 4, 2022 has declared an interim dividend of ₹ 190 per equity share of face value of ₹ 5/- each for the Financial Year 2021-22. The said dividend will be payable to those shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members of the Company and as beneficial owners in the Depositories as at the close of business hours on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 ("Record Date")."

Because the record date is May 17th, the stock will trade ex-dividend on May 13th, 2022. The stock closed at Rs 3517.10 on Friday, up 27.90 (0.80 per cent) from its previous close of Rs 3489.20.
