PM Kisan 23rd Installment Date: When Will Farmers Get Rs 2,000 Next In Bank Account? How To Check Eligibility?

The expectations of the 23rd installment under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana have heightened, which is going to be beneficial for more than 9.3 crore farmers across the country. PM Kisan benefits are paid in three installments every year, where eligible farmers receive Rs 2,000 each.

PM Kisan 23rd Installment Date 2026:

Under PM Kisan yojana, eligible farmers get Rs 2,000 each after a four-monthly gap and in total the benefit comes to around Rs 6,000 per year. The installment cycle is between April to July, August to November, and December to March.

The government transferred the 22nd installment of PM Kisan on March 13th, 2026, for the period of the December 2025 to March 2026 cycle. The government released a total of Rs 18,640 crore under the 22nd installment, which benefited approximately 9.32 crore farmers. Of the total, 2.15 crore beneficiaries were women.

Since the launch of PM Kisan on February 24, 2019, at least Rs 4.27 lakh crore has been released to farmers. The scheme is implemented through Aadhaar-based authentication and digitised land records, ensuring transparent and efficient direct benefit transfer to verified beneficiaries.

That being said, the 23rd installment for PM Kisan could be released between late June and mid-July 2026.

If we consider the dates of last year, the government released the 20th installment under PM Kisan on August 2nd, 2025, for the cycle of April to July 2025. While the 21st instalment of August-November 2025 cycle was released on November 19, 2025.

Hence, the chance of PM Kisan's 23rd installment's release in early-July is high.

Accordingly, farmers are requested to check their eligibility status on Know Your Status (KYS) of PM KISAN website/ mobile app or Kisan eMitra chatbot for further details.

How To Get Access Of PM Kisan Yojana Beneficiary List:

Step 1: Visit https://pmkisan.gov.in/.

Step 2: Under the Farmers Corner, you will find 'Beneficiary List' option below. Click on it.

Step 3: To get access of the beneficiary list, you will be required to provide information such as your state, district, sub-district, block number and village. After doing so, click on get report.

How To Check beneficiary status of PM Kisan account?

Step 1: Open the link below

Step 2: Click On 'Know Your Status' option.

Step 3: It needs to be noted that to know your status, a farmer should have registration number.

Step 4: Enter the registration number and captcha code. Then click on Get One-Time Password (OTP).

How Can Farmers Register For PM Kisan:

Step 1: Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in

Step 2: On the right side of the screen, in bold, it will be mentioned as 'New Farmer Registration'. Click on it!

Step 3: You will be directed to a new page, where you will be required to feed in your details.

Step 4: Firstly, you need to select between two options namely 'Rural Farmer Registration' and 'Urban Farmer Registration'.

Step 5: Then, put in details of your Aadhaar Number and Mobile Number. Your Aadhaar will be authenticated with UIDAI. You will be able to proceed with registration only if your Aadhaar is authenticated.

Step 6: Select the state you reside in. And add a captcha code.

Step 7: Once all details are added, generate a one-time password (OTP) which you will receive on your registered mobile number.

Who Is Not Eligible Under PM Kisan Yojana?

Farmers who acquired land ownership after 01-02-2019,

Cases where more than one family member is receiving benefits (e.g., both husband and wife, an adult member and minor, etc.).

Overall, PM Kisan scheme seeks to increase the income of small and marginal farmers by providing financial support for agricultural inputs, thereby improving crop health and productivity. Providing direct financial assistance also helps reduce farmers' reliance on informal credit sources and supports the continuity of agricultural activities.

PM-KISAN stands out as one of the largest Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) initiatives globally, underscoring its significant institutional mechanism for delivering financial support directly to farmers, with more than 25% of beneficiaries being women, highlighting its inclusive outreach.

The benefits of the scheme are provided to farmers upon seeding of land records in the PM-KISAN portal, linking bank accounts with Aadhaar, and completing e-KYC verification.
