PM-KISAN 24th Instalment Soon: Farmers Must Complete These Steps to Receive Rs. 2,000

The 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is scheduled for release on Friday, October 30th.

Eligible farmers in Uttar Pradesh and other parts of the country are expected to receive Rs. 2,000 directly into their bank accounts under the central government's income support scheme.

PM-KISAN

According to the official data, the Agriculture Ministry announced the scheduled release on October 23, while the official PM-KISAN social media handle also confirmed October 30 as the date.

However, the release does not guarantee that every registered farmer will receive the amount immediately. Beneficiaries must meet the scheme's eligibility requirements and ensure their records are up to date.

Farmers are advised to check their beneficiary status, complete electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) verification and verify their Aadhaar-linked bank details before the scheduled release.

PM-KISAN 24th Instalment: Date and Amount

Under the PM-KISAN scheme, eligible landholding farmer families receive financial assistance of Rs. 6,000 annually. The amount is paid in three equal instalments of Rs. 2,000 each, generally at intervals of four months.

The 23rd instalment was released in June 2026, according to the information provided. The next payment is scheduled for October 30th.

The payment is transferred directly to beneficiaries' bank accounts. The exact timing of the credit may vary, and some eligible farmers may receive the money after the scheduled release date.

Which Farmers May Not Receive the Rs. 2,000 Instalment?

Not every registered farmer is guaranteed to receive the next instalment. Incomplete verification, discrepancies in beneficiary records and eligibility restrictions can prevent a payment from being processed.

Farmers should check the following three requirements before October 30.

1. e-KYC verification is an important requirement under PM-KISAN. Farmers whose e-KYC is pending may face delays or interruptions in receiving their instalment.

2. Land seeding involves verifying a beneficiary's land records against the scheme's requirements. If the beneficiary's status shows that land seeding is pending or incomplete, the farmer should contact the relevant agriculture department or service centre for assistance.

3. Farmers should ensure that their Aadhaar and bank details are correctly linked for the applicable payment requirements. Incorrect account information or incomplete bank-linking procedures may prevent the transfer from reaching the intended beneficiary.

Farmers can check these requirements through the official PM-KISAN portal before the scheduled release.

How to Check PM-KISAN Beneficiary Status Online

Farmers can check whether their e-KYC, land-seeding and other beneficiary details are complete by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website, pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: Open the 'Know Your Status' option.
Step 3: Enter the required registration details and captcha.
Step 4: Complete OTP verification, if prompted.
Step 5: Review the beneficiary information, including e-KYC and land-seeding status.
Step 6: Check whether any information is pending or requires correction.

If a farmer finds an incomplete verification or incorrect detail, it is advisable to address the issue as soon as possible.\
