PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: PM Narendra Modi has released the 19th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme to the tune of Rs 22,000 crore to a whopping 9.8 crore farmers including 2.41 crore female farmers across the country. Here's how to check the beneficiary status of PM Kisan's account.
Step 3: It needs to be noted that to know your status, a farmer should have a registration number.
Step 4: Enter the registration number and captcha code. Then click on Get One-Time Password (OTP).
Step 5: OTP will be sent to your eKYC Registered Mobile Number. Enter and Submit to review your status.
Launched in February 2019, the PM Kisan scheme offers a financial benefit of Rs 6,000/- per year is transferred in three equal instalments, into the Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts of farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode. That means the government transfers Rs 2,000 each in three instalments every year.
PM-Kisan portal and mobile app offer services like self-registration, benefit status tracking, and facial authentication-based e-KYC. Farmers in remote areas can complete e-KYC via face scans, with provisions to assist neighbours.
Here's how to do the eKYC process at PM Kisan:
1. The first mode is face authentication-based e-KYC which is available on the PM Kisan Mobile App:
- Download the PM-Kisan Mobile app and Aadhaar Face RD app from the Google Play Store
- Open the app and log in through your PM-KISAN registered mobile number.
- Land on the beneficiary status page
- If the eKYC status is 'NO', then click on the eKYC enter your Aadhaar number and give your consent to scan your face.
- After successfully scanning your face, eKYC is completed.
2. Second MODE: Biometric-based e-KYC which is accessible at Common Service Centres (CSCs)
- Visit your nearest CSC/SSK with your Aadhaar card and Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
- The CSK/SSK operator will assist the farmer in performing biometric authentication using Aadhaar-based verification.
3. Third MODE: OTP Based e-KYC which is available on the PM Kisan Portal and Mobile App:
- The farmer is required to have an Aadhaar linked active mobile number.
- Visit the PM-KISAN portal which is mentioned above.
- Click on e-KYC (on the top right corner of the website)
- Enter your Aadhaar number and complete your eKYC after submitting your OTP.
