PM Kisan Yojana 24th Installment In October? Check Eligibility, E-KYC And How To Get Rs 2,000 In Bank Accounts

Once again, the PM Kisan Samman Niddhi Yojana scheme is in the limelight. This time the discussion is on the date of the 24th installment of PM Kisan, when eligible farmers will receive Rs 2,000 in their bank accounts through direct benefit transfer. As per reports, the PM Kisan 24th installment is expected to be released in the month of October.

PM Kisan 24th Installment 2026 Date:

Although there is no official confirmation on the date of the next PM Kisan installment, the majority of media reports are stating it could be scheduled in October.

Under the PM Kisan yojana, eligible farmers get Rs 2,000 each after a four-monthly gap, and in total the benefit comes to around Rs 6,000 per year. The installment cycle is between April and July, August to November, and December to March.

Broadly, the 24th installment is expected to be credited in bank accounts of farmers in mid-October.

The 23rd installment was released in June and the government paid up to Rs 18,880 crore under PM Kisan. The total disbursement under the scheme will exceed Rs 4.46 lakh crore, since its inception on 24th February 2019.

Last year, PM Modi transferred the 22nd installment of PM Kisan on March 13th, 2026, for the period of the December 2025 to March 2026 cycle. The government released a total of Rs 18,640 crore under the 22nd installment, which benefited approximately 9.32 crore farmers. Of the total, 2.15 crore beneficiaries were women.

How To Do e-KYC For PM Kisan Yojana Account?

There are three options to do eKYC for PM Kisam scheme. Farmers can follow either of the procedure mentioned below:

OTP Based e-KYC:

To execute, OTP based eKYC, the farmer is required to have Aadhaar linked active mobile number. For this follow the given steps:

Step 1: Visit the PM-KISAN portal (https://pmkisan.gov.in/)

Step 2: Click on e-KYC (on the top right corner of the website)

Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar number and complete your eKYC after submitting your OTP.

Biometric based e-KYC:

This facility has been made available to over 4 lakh Common service Centres, and various State Seva Kendras across the country to provide the services at the doorsteps/neighbourhood of the farmers. For this follow the given steps:

Step 1: Visit your nearest CSC/SSK with your Aadhaar Card and Aadhaar linked mobile number.

Step 2: The CSC/SSK operator will assist the farmer in performing biometric authentication using Aadhaar-based verification.

PM Kisan e-KYC through Face-authentication:

The farmer can also do the eKYC through their mobile at their own convenience. This is the most innovative and hassle-free way of doing eKYC. The steps are given below:

Step 1: Download the PM-KISAN mobile app and Aadhaar Face RD app from the Google Play Store.

Step 2: Open the app and login through your PM-KISAN registered mobile number.

Step 3: Land on the beneficiary status page

Step 4: If eKYC status is "No", click on the eKYC, then enter your Aadhaar number and give your consent to scan your face.

How To Get Access Of PM Kisan Yojana Beneficiary List:

Step 1: Visit https://pmkisan.gov.in/.

Step 2: Under the Farmers Corner, you will find 'Beneficiary List' option below. Click on it.

Step 3: To get access of the beneficiary list, you will be required to provide information such as your state, district, sub-district, block number and village. After doing so, click on get report.

How To Check beneficiary status of PM Kisan account?

Step 1: Visit PM Kisan website: https://pmkisan.gov.in/

Step 2: Click On 'Know Your Status' option.

Step 3: It needs to be noted that to know your status, a farmer should have registration number.

Step 4: Enter the registration number and captcha code. Then click on Get One-Time Password (OTP).

How Can Farmers Register For PM Kisan?

Step 1: Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in

Step 2: On the right side of the screen, in bold, it will be mentioned as 'New Farmer Registration'. Click on it!

Step 3: You will be directed to a new page, where you will be required to feed in your details.

Step 4: Firstly, you need to select between two options namely 'Rural Farmer Registration' and 'Urban Farmer Registration'.

Step 5: Then, put in details of your Aadhaar Number and Mobile Number. Your Aadhaar will be authenticated with UIDAI. You will be able to proceed with registration only if your Aadhaar is authenticated.

Step 6: Select the state you reside in. And add a captcha code.

Step 7: Once all details are added, generate a one-time password (OTP) which you will receive on your registered mobile number.

Who Is Not Eligible Under PM Kisan Yojana?

Farmers who acquired land ownership after 01-02-2019. Also, cases where more than one family member is receiving benefits (e.g., both husband and wife, an adult member and minor, etc.).
