Rs 105/Share Dividend: Mid Cap Stock To Trade Ex-Dividend On Nov 16, Q2 Net Up 37%

Mid cap agro chemicals sector company Bayer CropScience Ltd shares will go ex-dividend on November 16 for interim dividend of Rs 105/- per equity share of Rs 10/- each. Last trading price of Bayer CropScience share on BSE is Rs 5435.95 per share with intraday gain of 1.11%. Bayer CropScience shares gained 30.31% in last 6-months.

The company declared a surge of 37% in its net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2023 to Rs 222.9 crore as against Rs 162.6 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of last year. The company announced its revenue for September quarter at Rs 1617.2 crore, up 11.38% as against Rs 1451.9 crore declared in same quarter of last year.

In the first half of the current financial year, the company declared it profit at Rs 551.4 crore, up 18% as against Rs 465.2 crore reported last year in the same quarter.

Simon Wiebusch, Vice Chairman & Managing Director and CEO, BCSL said, "In a difficult environment of delayed, deficient and erratic monsoons as well as elevated COGS, we delivered strong growth of 11 per cent in revenue from operations in Q2 of FY24. Strong volume growth in Roundup on the back of good availability and market demand mitigated significantly lower prices. DeKalb corn seed sales, driven by favorable acreages and commodity prices, along with strong product liquidation of our crop protection portfolio remain our key growth drivers with LAUDIS, NATIVO and COUNCILactiv performing especially well."

Bayer CropScience To Go Ex-Dividend: As per the BSE filing issued on November 3, 2023, "We hereby inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at their Meeting held on November 03, 2023, declared an Interim Dividend of Rs. 105/- per equity share of Rs. 10/- each for the Financial Year 2023-24."

Bayer CropScience Revises Record Date: The company stated in the regulatory filing on November 3, 2023, "this is to inform you that the Record date has been revised and fixed on Thursday, November 16, 2023, for reckoning the shareholders who shall be entitled to receive the Interim Dividend declared for the Financial Year 2023-24 by the Board of Directors at their meeting held on November 03, 2023."
