SBI Bank Strike from September 28 To 30
The UFBU has proposed a three-day nationwide bank strike from Monday, September 28, to Wednesday, September 30. With the strike covering three consecutive working days, customers who have branch-related banking requirements have been advised not to wait until the strike period.
SBI has requested customers to complete important transactions before the proposed strike dates to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
SBI Advises Customers To Use ATMs, UPI And Digital Banking
SBI has asked customers to make use of alternative banking channels for their routine financial requirements during the strike period. Customers can use ATMs and ADWMs for cash-related requirements, while Customer Service Points (CSPs) can be used for eligible banking services.
For digital transactions, SBI has advised customers to use Internet Banking, YONO, mobile banking, UPI and other digital channels. This means customers can continue to carry out several routine transactions digitally even if some physical banking services are affected during the proposed strike.
What SBI Customers Should Do During Bank Strike
Customers who need branch-based services have been advised to complete their important transactions ahead of September 28. Those expecting to require cash during the strike period can also plan their withdrawals in advance and use ATMs or ADWMs where required. For everyday payments and fund transfers, customers can continue using UPI and other digital banking facilities.
