Reliance SBI credit cardholders have a reason to celebrate, as SBI Card announced new rewards on purchases at Ajio and JioMart from October 1st. The festive season is now more fruitful for SBI credit card users, with higher reward points for both regular and PRIME cardholders. At the same time, SBI Card has introduced new fees for certain payment categories starting November 1st this year.

Reliance SBI Card PRIME Update
According to the announcement by SBI, for Reliance SBI Card PRIME holders, reward points have been doubled. Previously, cardholders earned 10 points per Rs 100 spent on Ajio and JioMart. Now, they will earn 20 reward points per Rs 100 spent, which is an attractive offer for credit cards for festive and lifestyle shopping.
According to the SBI Card website: "W.e.f. 1st Oct' 25, earn 20 Reward Points for every Rs. 100 spent with your Reliance SBI Card PRIME on shopping at Ajio and JioMart. Happy Shopping! T&C Apply."
This updated reward structure allows PRIME users to maximise their shopping value and enjoy extra benefits during the festive season.
Regular Reliance SBI Cardholder
Even regular Reliance SBI Card users are set to benefit. The reward points on purchases at Ajio and JioMart have doubled from 5 to 10 points per Rs 100 spent.
"W.e.f. 1st Oct'25, earn 10 Reward Points for every Rs. 100 spent with your Reliance SBI Card on shopping at Ajio and JioMart. Happy Shopping! T&C Apply" as per the official announcements.
This new update is expected to make everyday shopping, including groceries and fashion, more rewarding for cardholders.
New SBI Card Transaction Fees from November 2025
SBI Card has announced new charges on select payment categories, which will be effective from November 1, 2025.
Education Payments via Third-Party Apps: Payments made through platforms like CRED, Cheq, and MobiKwik will incur a 1% transaction fee.
Wallet Load Charges: Any wallet load transaction exceeding Rs 1,000 will now attract a 1% fee of the transaction amount.
Cardholders are advised to plan their payments carefully to avoid additional costs due to these new fees.
All About Reliance SBI Card (Regular + PRIME)
The Reliance SBI Card PRIME comes with an annual fee of Rs 2,999 plus applicable taxes. However, this renewal fee can be waived if the cardholder spends Rs 3 lakh or more annually.
Meanwhile, the standard Reliance SBI Card carries a Rs 499 annual fee, with a renewal fee waiver if users spend Rs 1 lakh or more annually.
Benefits of Reliance SBI Card (Regular + PRIME)
PRIME cardholders receive four complimentary international airport lounge visits per year, courtesy of the Priority Pass Program, which provides access to over 1,000 lounges worldwide.Users also enjoy two complimentary domestic lounge visits per quarter in India by swiping their card at lounge counters.
Regular Reliance SBI cardholders who spend Rs 25,000 or more in a year at participating Reliance Retail Stores receive Rs 500 vouchers, adding value to their purchases.
