Stocks to Watch, July 14: HCL Tech, Biocon, SBI, Grasim, BEL, ICICI Pru AMC and More in Focus

At the time of writing, gifty nifty futures were trading at 24,05, down by 0.08% as global crude oil prices surged to a one-month high, weighing on the overall sentiment.

On the previous day, the Nifty 50 closed slightly higher at 24,211 while the Sensex added 47 points to settle at 77,616.40, supported by buying in IT counters.
Since the Q1 FY27 earnings season is now in full swing, investors are expected to move their focus toward individual stock triggers rather than broader index movement.
Fresh tensions coming from the Gulf region, after the reimposition of a US naval presence in the Strait of Hormuz, have added a caution move to the overall market mood.
Here are the counters that are likely to be in focus during Tuesday's trading session.
1. HCL Technologies
HCL Technologies yesterday reported a strong set of June 2026 quarter numbers, with net profit rising 20.3% YoY to Rs.4,624 crore and revenue climbing 13.9% to Rs.34,579 crore.
The company's EBIT grew 18% YoY to Rs.5,831 crore, with margins expanding 58 basis points to 16.8%, while dollar revenue rose nearly 3% to $3.65 billion. The IT major has also declared an interim dividend of Rs.12 per share for FY27.
2. Biocon
The pharma major, Biocon is likely to see some high activity after reports surfaced that Viatris-owned Mylan is planning to fully exit its holding in the drugmaker through a block deal worth around Rs.3,481 crore covering its 5.64% stake.
3. SBI
The shares of State Bank of India will be in sharp focus today as its subsidiary, SBI Funds Management, opens its Rs.9,813-crore IPO for public subscription today, with a price band of Rs.545 TO 574 per share. The asset manager had already raised Rs.2,663 crore a day earlier by allotting shares to 129 anchor investors.
4. BEL
The defence stock, Bharat Electronics, announced additional orders worth Rs.572. Also, the defence PSU's next earnings report is due on July 27, so the stocks will be in focus.
5. ICICI Prudential AMC
ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company reported a healthy June quarter, with net profit rising 23.1% YoY to Rs.964.6 crore and revenue up 17.6% to Rs.1,564.2 crore. Operating profit for the quarter rose 20% YoY to Rs.1,100 crore.
