Stocks To Watch Today: After an extended weekend the Stock market is expected to open green with GIFT Nifty hinting towards a positive start. However, global market cues were mixed amid overnight due to higher crude oil prices.

At the time of writing, GIFT Nifty futures were at 23,511 as of 8:30 AM. Asian markets traded mixed in early deals, while US stocks ended lower overnight. The market will also react to the moving rising crude oil prices, with Brent crude at $106.96 per barrel and WTI crude at $102.68.

The IPO was subscribed around 120 times, while IPO GMP hinted at a potential listing premium of around 36%.

Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea shares are likely to be in focus after developments around the proposed Rs. 35,000 crore funding package for the telecom company.

State Bank of India, which is leading the proposed funding package, is expected to issue a sanction letter for its share of the funds soon.

Meanwhile, the TRAI is looking into the complaints filed by Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio against Vodafone Idea where it alleged that Vi blocked mobile number portability.

HDFC Bank

HDFC Bank shares will be one the top stocks to watch today since the bank has shortlisted two candidates for the position of Managing Director and CEO. The bank has submitted the names to the Reserve Bank of India for approval.

Tata Group Stocks

Tata Group stocks could in focus after the RBI directed Tata Sons to pursue an immediate stock market listing.

HFCL Shares In Focus

HFCL shares could see action after the company's board approved a major capacity expansion plan which covers optical fibre, optical fibre cable and preform manufacturing capacity. As per the company's exchange filing, the total capital expenditure for the expansion is estimated at around Rs. 820 crore.

Coforge Shares

Coforge shares will be watched today after independent director and Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) chairperson DK Singh resigned with immediate effect.
