The earnings season in India is in full swing currently, and the upcoming quarterly report will be from India's Auto sector giant, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles or TMPV. The Tata Group stock is all set to announce Q4 FY26 earnings along with a potential final dividend for shareholders.
Market participants are now looking forward to the company's financial performance in the fast-growing, competitive market of electric vehicles and SUV segments.

The company has already scheduled its board meeting, where it will consider and approve the financial results for the fourth quarter and the full financial year FY26.

Tata Motors PV Q4 FY26 Results Date

According to company filings, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles is expected to announce its Q4 FY26 results on May 14. The board meeting was reportedly scheduled around May 13-14 to approve the audited financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2026.

Tata Motors Dividend Expectations

One of the biggest talking points around the Q4 results is the Tata Motors dividend announcement. The board is likely to consider recommending a final dividend for FY26 alongside the earnings release.

For FY25, Tata Motors had announced a final dividend of Rs. 6 per share. Investors are now waiting to see whether the company maintains or improves its shareholder payout amid improving profitability and strong domestic sales.

However, any dividend recommendation will still require shareholder approval during the company's annual general meeting.

Tata Motors Earnings Call Schedule

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has also reportedly scheduled its analyst and investor earnings call on the same day as the results announcement. As the filing, the earnings call may begin around 6:30 PM IST.

During the conference call, senior management is expected to discuss Q4 FY26 business performance, Passenger vehicle and EV sales trends, Margin outlook, Demand expectations for FY27, Supply-chain developments and any Future product launches.

Motilal Oswal Turns Bearish On Tata Motors PV Ahead Of Q4 Results

Brokerage firm Motilal Oswal Financial Services has maintained a 'Sell' rating on Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (PV) in its latest auto sector research report dated May 11,citing weak earnings visibility and pressure on profitability.

According to the brokerage report, Tata Motors PV has a current market price (CMP) of Rs. 355, while the target price (TP) has been pegged at Rs. 272, implying a potential downside of nearly 23% from current levels.

The Motilal Oswal report talked about subdued earnings expectations for Tata Motors PV over FY26 and FY27. The brokerage estimated FY26 EPS at negative 7.3, FY27 EPS at 15.9 and FY28 EPS at 29.1

The report also pointed to sharp earnings pressure in FY26, with EPS growth estimated at negative 114.2%.

Meanwhile, the company's return on equity (ROE) projections are weak compared to peers, with FY26E ROE at negative 2.5% and the FY27E ROE at 4.9%

The brokerage appears cautious on margin recovery and overall profitability amid rising competition in the passenger vehicle and EV space.
