Renowned research firm, Value Research has rated the BOI AXA Tax Advantage Fund, 4-star, considering its returns and portfolio. An ELSS fund, or tax savings fund will usually have a minimum lock-in period of 3 years, but an investor can also keep the money for more than the minimum lock-in period.

The research firm also said, that an investment of Rs. 1 Lakh has grown to Rs. 2.67 Lakh, and an investment of Rs. 10000 Monthly SIP has grown to Rs. 10.85 Lakh, in last 5 years.
