Vested Finance Collaborates With ClearTax To Simplify US Investment Taxation

Vested Finance, a prominent investment platform, has recently unveiled a strategic integration with ClearTax, aimed at simplifying US investment tax filings for its vast user base.

Vested Finance said, that through this partnership, more than 2.5 lakh investors with Vested accounts would be able to easily use the ClearTax platform to include their US investments in their income tax return (ITR) filings.

Investors begin by logging into their Vested Finance accounts and navigating to the 'Tax Documents' section. Here, they can easily click on 'File with ClearTax' to initiate the process.

Step 2: Seamless Transition to ClearTax

Upon selecting 'File with ClearTax', investors are seamlessly redirected to the ClearTax window. Here, they have the option to either sign up or log in if they already possess a ClearTax account.

Step 3: Auto-Import and Summary

Once logged in or signed up on ClearTax, all relevant tax documents generated by Vested Finance, including capital gains, schedules of Foreign Assets, and Foreign Income, are automatically captured on the ClearTax portal in Indian Rupees, ensuring compliance with income tax regulations. Investors can conveniently review or edit the imported tax information on the capital gains dashboard within ClearTax.

Step 4: Review and Edit

Investors are encouraged to thoroughly review and edit the tax information imported into the capital gains dashboard on ClearTax. This ensures accuracy and compliance before finalizing their income tax return filing, thereby providing peace of mind to investors.
