Robert Agostinelli: Career Highlights

Agostinelli began his career at the investment bank Jacob Rothschild in Switzerland from 1981 to 1982. He then joined Goldman Sachs and rose to become a senior partner. During his time at Goldman Sachs, he founded the firm's international mergers and acquisitions business in London.

After leaving Goldman Sachs, Agostinelli moved to Lazard Freres as Senior Managing Director in charge of international banking affairs. He was involved in several major European takeover transactions before co-founding Rhône Group with Steven Langman in 1995.

As co-founder of Rhône Group, Agostinelli is actively involved in all aspects of the group's strategy and development. He maintains a broad base of relationships with private families, corporate decision-makers, institutional investors, and senior sovereign government officials. Agostinelli engages in sourcing and monitoring investments across industries and leads the firm's investor relations activities. He also sits on the supervisory board of Eurazeo.
