LIC Board To Meet On May 30 For Financial Results, Dividend

Life Insurance Corporation of India post its week listing and muted performance in 7 days time. The stock has largely been trading in a range and in trade on Tuesday (May 24, 2022) was up by a tad to Rs. 834.7 per share on the NSE.

The largest public insurer in a BSE filing today said and informed about the board meet. The release said, "It is informed that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Corporation is scheduled to be held on May 30th , 2022, to consider, inter alia, the following agenda items:

To consider and approve the audited Annual Financial Results (standalone and consolidated) for the quarter/year ended on March 31, 2022 and payment of Dividend, if any.

Accordingly, the trading window for dealing in shares of the Corporation shall remain closed from May 1 ?'h, 2022 till 48 hours after the Board Meeting for consideration and approval of financial results for the quarter/year ended on March 31 st 2022. A Notice to this effect is being hosted on the website of the Corporation at www

The shares of the company last traded at Rs. 828.5 per share, down substantially from its IPO issue price of Rs. 949 per share.
