Krishival Foods Limited Acquires Industrial Property in Kolhapur to Boost Production Capacity

Krishival Foods Limited, a small-cap FMCG firm, has acquired an industrial property in Halkarni Industrial Area, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. This land is adjacent to their existing 5-acre MIDC facility. The newly acquired property spans over 8,000 square meters with a constructed area of 1,770.49 square meters. It was obtained through a SARFAESI auction conducted by Union Bank of India.

The company plans to use this facility to enhance its production capacity in the nuts and food processing sectors. This acquisition aligns with Krishival Foods' strategy for long-term growth and value-added processing. The firm aims to establish an integrated processing plant for its nut division on this land.

The addition of this property increases Krishival Foods' total landholding in the Halkarni Industrial Area to nearly 7 acres. This expansion is expected to improve operational efficiency and facilitate backward integration. It will also support future product innovations under the company's packaged foods division.

Sujit Bangar, Chairman of Krishival Foods, commented on the acquisition: "This is a strategic, value-accretive addition to our manufacturing base. The adjacency to our existing MIDC land significantly de-risks future expansion, while the ready construction accelerates time-to-commission for our nuts division."

In a related development, Krishival Foods' Board of Directors approved raising funds through a rights issue at their meeting on October 27, 2025. The company plans to offer partly paid-up equity shares with a face value of Rs 10 each, aiming to raise up to Rs 100 crore.

The specifics of the rights issue, including issue price, entitlement ratio, record date, and payment terms, will be determined by the Board or Rights Issue Committee in due course. This financial move is part of Krishival Foods' strategy to strengthen its market position.
