MIC Electronics Wins Indian Railways Contract for Coach Guidance and PA Systems in Jammu Division

MIC Electronics Limited has informed stock exchanges that it received a Letter of Acceptance from Indian Railways for a new infrastructure order. The work covers Coach Guidance and Public Address systems at SVDK and SINA stations in the Jammu Division under the Northern Railway Zone’s Firozpur Division. The contract value stands at Rs 1,45,75,627.69.

The company will execute the railway systems project within three months from the agreement date. The order is classified as a direct domestic contract from a government body and was secured through a competitive tender process. MIC Electronics stated that detailed contractual terms will be settled after the formal agreement is signed.

Management clarified that promoters and promoter group entities have no interest in the awarding authority. The company also confirmed that the arrangement does not qualify as a related party transaction. As a result, there are no arm’s length concerns linked to this Indian Railways contract, according to the disclosure filed with the exchanges.

MIC Electronics received the Letter of Acceptance on February 9, 2026, at 1:32 PM. The disclosure was lodged with the National Stock Exchange under symbol MICEL and with BSE under scrip code 532850. The order supports the wider Indian Railways station upgrade programme and strengthens MIC Electronics’ presence in passenger information and railway infrastructure solutions.

This fresh win follows an earlier milestone, when MIC Electronics reported its first commercial order for the Public Address and Passenger Information System, or PAPIS. That order came from Railway Coach Factory, Kapurthala, described as a leading Indian Railways production unit. It followed completion of the required product clearance process for the PAPIS solution.

The PAPIS development drew on the company’s December 23, 2024 communication, which announced approval of the Capacity cum Capability Assessment for a GPS location-based PAPIS system. With the latest supply order, MIC Electronics has moved from system approval to execution. The company has now entered the commercial supply phase for this product category within the Indian Railways ecosystem.

Together with the new Coach Guidance and PA project, MIC Electronics is increasing exposure to Indian Railways communication systems.
