Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Announces 1:5 Stock Split to Enhance Investor Accessibility and Liquidity

The announcement of a 1:5 stock split by Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Limited has caught the attention of investors on Dalal Street. This move will divide each existing share into five, making the stock more affordable and liquid for individual investors. In a meeting on 12th August 2025, the Board approved the stock split. The record date is set for December 12, 2025. This means one equity share with a face value of Rs. 10 will be split into five shares, each valued at Rs. 2. This change aims to enhance market accessibility and liquidity without altering the total paid-up capital.

For the quarter ending September 2025, Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities reported a net profit decline of 6.24%, amounting to Rs 36.51 crore compared to Rs 38.94 crore in the same period last year. However, sales rose by 11.11%, reaching Rs 551.42 crore from Rs 496.29 crore in Q2FY25.

The authorised share capital will shift from 6,50,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each to 32,50,00,000 equity shares of Rs 2 each due to this split. Similarly, issued and paid-up share capital will increase from 6,13,98,119 Rs 10 equity shares to 30,69,90,595 Rs 2 equity shares.

Riyank Arora from Mehta Equities Ltd commented on the stock's performance: "The stock is trading near record highs, showing strong bullish momentum. Immediate support is placed at ₹1265, while resistance is seen at ₹1325. Sustaining above ₹1300 could extend gains toward ₹1350-₹1375. RSI remains in the positive zone, indicating strength on dips. Maintain a buy-on-declines approach while above ₹1260."
