Unclaimed Assets Portal India Launches to Simplify Searches and Boost Financial Inclusion
The finance ministry on Friday launched a single online portal for unclaimed financial assets. The site lets people check several categories in one place. It covers unclaimed bank deposits, insurance claims, shares, dividends and mutual funds. The ministry said the step can improve access and trust for citizens.
The common entry point is https://www.unclaimedassetsportal.in. The portal gathers existing search facilities on one website. The ministry said this should make searches easier across the financial system. It also said the portal can raise awareness and support financial inclusion. The ministry linked it with Viksit Bharat 2047 goals.

The finance ministry said the portal was launched with PSB Alliance. The partnership aims to make information on unclaimed financial assets easier to reach. The unified design guides users to the right search options. The ministry said this reduces confusion for people who otherwise check several sources separately.
Department of Financial Services Secretary M Nagaraju launched the platform at a review meeting of public sector banks. The ministry said the portal places several search tools under one roof. It is meant to improve convenience and help people reconnect with rightful assets. The ministry added it supports ongoing recovery efforts too.
Unclaimed assets portal extends Your Money, Your Right drive
The ministry said the portal builds on the nationwide Your Money, Your Right campaign. The Department of Financial Services ran that drive with regulators, banks and other stakeholders. It focused on awareness, tracing and restitution of unclaimed financial assets. The ministry said the common landing approach supports a clearer, citizen-centric system.
