SAR Televenture Expands Telecom Infrastructure with Acquisition of Whitefield Communications and Blue Lotus Support Services

SAR Televenture Limited, a key player in managed network services and telecom infrastructure, has announced a significant acquisition. The company has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire full equity stakes in M/s Whitefield Communications Private Limited and M/s Blue Lotus Support Services Private Limited for Rs 800 crore. This move is expected to enhance SAR Televenture's position in India's telecom infrastructure sector.

Following this announcement, SAR Televenture's shares rose by 1.75%, closing at Rs 177.25 per share on the NSE SME platform, with a market capitalisation of Rs 835 crore. The acquisition aligns with SAR Televenture's strategy to expand its telecom infrastructure solutions, including tower management, fiber rollout, and network maintenance.

The acquisition marks SAR Televenture's strategic entry into high-growth markets in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. These regions are experiencing rapid data usage growth and 5G network rollouts, making them crucial for telecom infrastructure expansion. With Fusionnet Web Services Private Limited's presence in Northern India, SAR Televenture aims to establish a PAN India presence.

SAR Televenture anticipates that the combined entity will benefit from streamlined management systems, improved logistics, and shared infrastructure. This integration is expected to boost operational efficiency and service quality. The acquisition will add approximately 4,50,000 retail customers to the existing customer base of 4,00,000 lacs.

The deal is expected to bolster SAR Televenture's offerings in managed services, tower infrastructure, and fiber network management. It aims to establish a scalable foundation for future growth while contributing significantly to India's digital infrastructure development.
