Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. Wins Major Solar Energy Project in Andhra Pradesh

Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. (NSE: SERVOTECH) has secured a significant project from the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. (NREDCAP). This Rs 73.70 crore initiative, under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, aims to enhance solar energy access for disadvantaged communities in the Kavali division by installing grid-connected rooftop solar systems.

Servotech Wins Solar Project in Andhra Pradesh

The project involves setting up rooftop solar plants for 5,886 Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) households. Servotech Renewable will handle the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of these systems. The initiative will be executed using a Utility-Led Aggregation (CAPEX) model and includes five years of comprehensive Operation & Maintenance (O&M).

This effort aligns with Andhra Pradesh's renewable energy strategy, aiming to provide reliable, clean, and affordable energy to thousands. It also contributes to long-term socioeconomic development by empowering communities with sustainable energy solutions.

Financial Performance and Market Trends

Financially, Servotech Renewable Power System faced challenges in recent quarters. The company's revenue decreased by 17.75% to Rs 102.93 crore from Rs 125.14 crore in Q1 FY26. EBITDA saw a decline of 31.55% to Rs 9.74 crore compared to the previous year.

Gross profit also fell by 15.31%, reaching Rs 22.50 crore in September 2025 from Rs 26.57 crore in Q1 FY26. Profit Before Tax (PBT) experienced a significant drop of 69.08% to Rs 3.10 crore from Rs 10.04 crore in Q1 FY26.

Stock Market Performance

Servotech Renewable's stock has seen a notable decline over the past year. After peaking at Rs 189.67 on December 9, 2024, the stock value has halved, reaching a low of Rs 95.15 on November 19, 2025. Currently priced at Rs 96.90 per share, it remains just above its yearly low.

This decline reflects ongoing selling pressure and a substantial reduction in investor wealth compared to last year's highs.
