Upcoming Ex-Date in India: Dividends, Rights Issues, and Demerger Highlights for Sept 2026
Ten listed stocks are set to trade ex-date between the September 28 to October 2 sessions. The list includes corporate actions such as dividends, bonus issues, a demerger, and a rights issue. Widely tracked names in focus include Natco Pharma, Indraprastha Gas, and Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL).
Across the window, six stocks are due to turn ex-dividend and two are set to go ex-bonus. K M Sugar Mills has a spin-off with a 1:5 ratio. Natco Pharma has also fixed a record date to identify eligible holders for a 2:21 rights entitlement.
K M Sugar Mills has fixed October 2 as the record date for the distillery division spin-off. The demerger scheme takes effect from October 1 onward. Eligible investors will receive 1 equity share of KM Spirits and Allied Industries for every five equity shares held in K M Sugar Mills.
Natco Pharma is running a rights issue of up to Rs 1,279.36 crore. The company plans to issue up to 17,058,082 fully paid-up equity shares. The issue price is Rs 750 per share. The record date is October 1, and subscriptions run from October 12 to October 22.
Two stocks are scheduled to turn ex-bonus next week, both at a 1:1 ratio. Aastha Spintex has fixed September 28 as the record date to decide eligibility. Maestros Electronics & Telecommunications Systems has fixed October 1 as the record date for the same purpose.
A 1:1 bonus issue means investors receive one free share for each held share. Bonus shares are issued without cost to shareholders. Under this action, companies issue new shares at the existing face value. As a result, the face value stays unchanged after the bonus issue.
