Samsung has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, at the Galaxy Unpacked February 2026 event held in San Francisco, California. The new premium range brings notable upgrades in performance, display privacy, design, AI features and charging speeds, while also arriving with higher India prices and a promise of long-term software support.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series includes three models - Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26. All three smartphones have been launched simultaneously in India and other global markets and are currently available for pre-orders. The devices will go on open sale soon across online and offline channels.

Pricing is one of the key talking points of the Galaxy S26 lineup in India. The standard Galaxy S26 starts at Rs. 87,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB + 512GB option is priced at Rs. 1,07,999.
The Galaxy S26+ is priced at Rs. 1,19,999 for the 256GB model and Rs. 1,39,999 for the 512GB variant.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is positioned as the most premium model in the lineup with multiple storage options in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 1,39,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM + 512GB model costs Rs 1,59,999. For power users, Samsung also offers a top-end 16GB RAM + 1TB storage version priced at Rs 1,89,999.

The Galaxy S26 series is currently available for pre-order in India. Once sales begin, buyers can purchase the phones via Amazon, Flipkart, and the Samsung India online store. Samsung is also expected to make the devices available through select offline retail partners across major cities.
S26 Ultra Display and Privacy Features
A major highlight of the lineup is the inbuilt privacy display on the Galaxy S26 Ultra - a first-of-its-kind feature in Samsung's flagship phones. It is designed for commuters and frequent travellers, helping protect sensitive information such as banking apps, emails and messages in crowded spaces.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 6.9-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering brighter visuals and smoother scrolling. The Galaxy S26 comes with a 6.3-inch AMOLED panel, while the Galaxy S26+ sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, both also supporting high refresh rates.
Performance and Battery Specifications
Samsung has split processors across the lineup. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, aimed at power users and mobile gamers. The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ run on Samsung's in-house Exynos 2600 SoC, focused on balancing performance and power efficiency.
Battery upgrades are also noticeable. The Galaxy S26 Ultra packs a 5,000mAh battery with 60W wired fast charging and 25W wireless charging. The Galaxy S26 features a 4,300mAh battery with 25W fast charging, while the Galaxy S26+ includes a 4,900mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging.
Galaxy S26 Design and Colour Options
Samsung has refreshed the Galaxy S26 design with inspiration from its foldable devices. All models now feature a unified camera island, similar to the design language of the Galaxy Z Fold series. The Galaxy S26 Ultra has more rounded corners and a slimmer 7.9mm profile, improving in-hand comfort.
In terms of colours, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is available in Black, Blue, Purple and White. The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ come in Black, Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue and White, offering both subtle and bold choices for buyers.
Cameras and AI Features
On the camera front, the Galaxy S26 Ultra continues with a 200MP primary sensor, supported by a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto, 50MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP 3x telephoto camera. Wider apertures on key lenses are expected to improve low-light photography.
The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ share a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera, 10MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, making them suitable for everyday photography, travel and social media use.
Samsung has also introduced new AI-powered tools across the Galaxy S26 series, aimed at enhancing photography, productivity and everyday smartphone interactions.
