How To Change Or Reset UPI PIN With Google Tez?

Search engine Google launched its mobile wallet named Google Tez this month. Tez app allows the user to transfer money using UPI address, mobile number, account number, or QR code.

UPI is a banking system for money transfers on payment apps. To add a bank account to Tez, your bank must work with UPI.

The UPI PIN is the number that you enter whenever you add a new payment account or make a transaction.If you've never used UPI, you'll be asked to set a UPI PIN when you first add a bank account. You can also change your UPI PIN using Tez.

Forgot UPI PIN

If you forgot your UPI PIN, you can create a new one using Tez by following these steps: 

 

  • Open your Tez app
  • In the top-left, tap your photo and then Bank account.
  • Tap the bank account that you want to edit.
  • Tap Forgot UPI PIN.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • You will be required to insert the last six digits of your debit or credit card along with validity date.
  • You will receive a message from your bank about your number and device being successfully captured for UPI.
  • You can now set the UPI PIN for your account.

 

 

Change UPI PIN

For changing your UPI PIN follow these steps:

 

  • Open Tez.
  • In the top-left, tap your photo and then Bank account.
  • Tap the bank account that you want to edit.
  • Tap More Moreland then click on change UPI PIN.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Enter the last six digits of your debit or credit card.
  • Enter your validity date.
  • You will receive a message from your bank about your number and device being successfully captured for UPI.
  • You can now reset the UPI PIN for your account.

 

 

UPI PIN Blocked

If you enter a wrong UPI PIN more than 3 times, you might not be able to change or reset your UPI PIN for 24 hours. You won't be able to send or receive money during this time. How To Get And Use Google Tez App?
