The country's largest lender State Bank of India provides quick missed call service for account balance enquiry, loan enquiry, mini statement, blocked ATM cards or much more. So you can you keep an eye on your bank account by just a missed call.

To use SBI Quick missed call service. The SBI customer has to register the mobile number. To benefit from SBI Quick Missed Call Banking services, you will need to complete a unique registration process. The process is simple and can be completed in minutes. The step-by-step procedure for registering SBI Missed Call Banking (SBI Quick) is mentioned below:

One time registration process:

Step1: Send SMS, In the format of ‘REG Account Number' to 09223488888, For example, your account number is 12345678901. Then, send SMS as 'REG 12345678901' to 09223488888.

Step2: Once the SMS has been sent, you will receive a confirmation message. The confirmation message will indicate whether the registration process was successful or failed.

Step3: If it is successful then you can start using the SBI Quick Missed Call Banking services.

Step4: If it is unsuccessful, follow the below-mentioned points.

  • Check the format of the SMS and the number to which the SMS was sent.
  • Check whether the number from which the SMS was sent has been registered in the bank account. In case it is not updated at the bank, you can visit any SBI bank branch and update the number.

Mobile number must be available in bank records then only you can register for SBI missed call service. To attach a mobile number with the account, contact your SBI bank branch immediately.

You can check the balance by sending miss call to 09223766666. You can check the balance through SMS also. The SMS format is ‘BAL' and SMS to 09223766666

You can also cancel your registration for SBI missed call service. You can de-register from SBI Quick through the following process. Send SMS ‘DREG account number' to 09223488888.For example, DREG 12345678901> 09223488888. 

ATM Card Blocking:

ATM Card Blocking:

  • Now you can block your ATM card through SMS.
    First, you have to send an SMS to block the ATM card from your registered mobile number. The SMS containing the ticket number, date and time of blocking will be sent to the registered mobile number.
  • The SMS format of blocking the debit card is BLOCK(space)(last 4 digits of the card) and send to 567676.
  • Ex: 'BLOCK 0000' and send to 567676.
Generate SBI Mini Statement:

SBI customers can easily generate a mini-statement once they have registered for the SBI Quick installation. The mini statement will provide the last 5 transaction details that have been made to the account. SBI customers can receive the mini statement by calling 09223866666. Also, you can get the mini statement by sending an SMS to the same number. Format for generating the SBI mini-statement: MSTMT and send SMS to 09223766666.
