There is no fee for linking Aadhaar with your Airtel number. Also If you are an Airtel Broadband or Digital TV customer, you don't need to link it to Aadhaar. Biometric verification is a process through which, a person can be uniquely identified basis fingerprints, and details are fetched as per the information in Aadhaar database. It is better to complete the seeding process as soon as possible. The last date for linking your Airtel mobile number and Aadhaar card is 6th Feb 2018. If you don't complete the process before 6th Feb 18, services on your mobile number might get restricted.
All you need is your Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number and your Mobile Phone with you. The mobile phone is compulsory as you will receive the verification code or One Time Password (OTP) on your mobile that would be required to complete the process. Who are the exemptions?
If you have done biometric (given fingerprints) along with Aadhaar at the time of taking the new connection, you do not have to follow the verification process again.
