How To Link Aadhaar To Your SBI Account Online?

It is mandatory to link all bank accounts in the country with account holders 12 digit Aadhaar card number. State Bank of India, India's biggest lender, allows its account holders to link Aadhaar number with their bank account online.

SBI users have the option to upload their Aadhaar details online without visiting the bank branch. The last date to link your Aadhaar card number with the bank account is Dec 31. 2017.

Step 1

To link Aadhaar Card to Bank account online, log in to the SBI Bank's NetBanking portal, www.onlinesbi.com, using your username and password.

Step 2

After logging in in the home page, you can see "Link your Aadhaar Number" or " Aadhaar Card Seeding" or "Link Aadhaar Card to Bank account" or "Update your Aadhaar number with Bank account" or similar option under "Service Requests" or "Customer Service" option. Select that option.

Step 3

The Aadhaar Card Seeding option page will ask to choose your SBI savings account number. Select the account number where you like to link the Aadhaar Card. Step 4

Check the details updated and submit the form. The entered data will be updated in the SBI bank system and will be verified by the SBI bank manually later. Once the verification is complete SBI bank will notify you through the confirmation email and SMS on the given email address and or mobile phone number.
