Enchante Jewellery Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

The Company was incorporated on 11th March, 1986 under the Companies Act, 1956. It has been promoted by the Mehrasons Group, well known gold jewellery retailers of New Delhi. The Certificate for Commencement of Business was obtained by the Company on 20th March, 1986. Its manufacturing activities are yet to commence. However under the Gold
Control Act then in force, the application for grant of licence was rejected by the Govt. of India as the promoters of the company were already engaged in retail business of gold jewellery in other firms. Following the abolition of the Gold Control Act, the Company was able to revive the project and obtained the necessary acknowledgement from the Secretariat of Industrial Approvals, Department of Industrial Development, Govt. of India vide their Letter No. 525/SIA/IMO/93 dated 24.2.93.
