KMG Milk Food Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

The Company was incorporated on 1st January, at New Delhi. It was promoted by Basu Dev Garg, Ram Lal Gupta & Sandeep Gupta. The main object of the company is Processing of Milk.
The Company undertook to set up a processing plant with a capacity to process 3 lakh litres p.d. at village Marana, District Kurukshetra, Haryana.

The company had made a dynamic entry in Dairy Industry by establishing ultra modern Milk Processing Plant in northern region of India, which enables the company a fast sourcing of the raw material. The plant and machinery set up here are of Alfa Level to meet the growing demand of High Quality of Dairy Products in domestic and international market as well. With the processing capacity of 300,000 liters of raw milk per day, this plant is meeting the substantial demand of Milk Powders in the country.

Being an ISO-9001:2000 accredited company and having achieved the approval from Export Inspection Council of India, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India for exporting of our product under the name of "KMG" as a brand. Our products are being regularly supplied to all over the Middle East and SAARC Countries.

1995

- The inadequate working capital by virtue of lean season, non availability of raw milk at reasonable prices, the overall working could have been still better.

- 25,57,600 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each issued, subscribed and paid up (23,57,600 shares to promoters, and 1,00,000 shares each to HSIDC & HAIC respectively. 27,22,400 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each were issued in April 1994 of which 1,11,200 shares each were reserved for allotment on a firm basis to HSIDC Ltd. and HAIC (Haryana Agro Industries Corporation Ltd.) respectively.

- Of the remaining the following were reserved for allotted on a preferential basis:

- (i) 5,00,000 shares to FIIs. (Only 2,50,000 shares taken up),

- (ii) 5,00,000 shares to Indian Mutual Funds (only 3,50,000 shares taken up),

- (iii) 10,000 shares to employees (only 16,000 shares taken up).

- Balance 14,90,000 shares along with unsubscribed part of 4,08,400 shares form preferential quota was issued to the public.

- Additional 24,600 shares were allotted to retain oversubscription.
